The Lane Library at Stanford University has amassed a comprehensive, cool-looking, and very scary collection of cigarette advertising through history. Not only is there this fantastic, they-don't-make-'em-like-that-anymore quality to the ads, it's worth flipping through a few categories to better understand the ingenious levels of deception that went into getting people to smoke.
